Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry everyone for the long absence. Oh the joys of parenthood. Little Libby has been keeping us soooo busy that although we have managed to keep taking pictures, we have not managed to keep up with the blog. Hopefully these pictures will have been worth the long wait.


We have A LOT to be thankful for this year. The year we became a family. We spent a quiet evening with the local grandparents.

We began the evening with a little musical entertainment from our young prodigy playing the family piano.

Libby gets a ride from Grandma B

Libby Loves Pie with lots of whipped cream. She eats with a spoon by herself for the very first time! What a year this has been.

Remember to brush after eating sweets!

Libby Turns 1

We had a small family affair, with just 40 or so family members. Sorry, no group photos, but of course lots of pictures of Libby enjoying her cake. She had a love time playing with all her little cousins. she's a very social little girl and loves social events. Good thing too, here mommy and daddy keep her pretty busy. Turns out she loves cake too!

We also had a lovely reunion with all the Chenzhou Spicy Girls - Amity, Emiko, Libby and Meighan and Meighan's big sister Katana. All the girls turn one around the same time, and since we all live near each other, we get to celebrate our birthdays together. The girls love getting together!

Halloween was great fun - Libby was a chicken and loved her pumpkin from Uncle Will and Auntie Lorrie.
