This Years Chinese New Year Celeration comes to a close!

The Lantern Festival Ends this year's Chinese New Year Celebration on February 8th!It was a beautiful drizzling evening in the Garden. Even in the rain, the garden is a peaceful and beautiful place.



This is our new dragon . . .a gift from our sister City in Suzhou China!






We are all tuckered out from the party . . party . . .Party!

Happy Chinese New Year - Year of the Ox


Celebrations started on January 24th at the Families w/ Children from China luncheon. We spent the main part of the holiday celebrating at the Portland Chinese Classical Garden! It was a beautiful sunny winter day in Portland. Libby Made a lantern with Mama and watched the Lion Dancers with Daddy!
